Talisa Almonte (aka. Almonte Studio) is an Afro-Dominican artist, illustrator and muralist based in Queens, NY. After working in the Fashion industry for 7 years, and the loss of her father, Talisa decided to establish Almonte Studio, a creative business honoring the legacy her father left behind.

Her work combines her love for bold color usage, New York City, specifically Queens, her Latin Heritage and wanting to evoke positive and uplifting emotions through the work she creates. If she could describe her work in one word, it would be celebratory, whether that's through color, subject matter, or the community and energy involved to create it.

Whether through murals, paintings or digital illustrations, she uses her art as a beacon to uplift others. Her work has been featured by brands and publications such as: LA Times, NYC DOT, Target, Disney+,Hermes and more.
